ORGANIZATION: Catholic Charities of Oregon

  • 6 people are interested

We are recruiting classroom helpers to make summer school run smoothly and to give our students the attention they need. We'd klike about 8 helpers every day to work with kids in small groups to keep them engaged and focused, or to help individual students who need extra attention.

McCoy Village is a low-income housing complex serving a diverse population in NE Portland. This year we are starting our Schools Out! summer program to offer opportunities for the youth that live here to participate in fun, engaging activities this summer in their community and around Portland! Expect to play games, do arts and crafts, go on field trips and more!

Come and join our summer school team! Plan to volunteer at least one day a week for the duration of the 5 week summer school program

The program will be every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00am-12:30pm starting June 25th and ending July 26th.
