All volunteers must wear khaki bottoms (this includes shorts and skorts as long as they as knee length) and a white, short sleeve polo with no logo. Volunteers have to wear closed-toe shoes and all hair must be up and out of the way.
Personal Items:
You can bring a small clear bag to hold your personal items. You phones must be on golf mode or kept on silent the entire time. Any rain jackets or bags will be kept in a designated, safe area.
Water and Food:
There will be a water station at our stand, bring an empty water bottle to fill up. You can also bring one, sealed water bottle for yourself. You will be provided a meal and a snack during your shift. Please eat before you arrive as well. You cannot bring food into the club.
Parking:
There is a FREE parking lot at 226 Deerfield Drive, Fort Mill. There will be a shuttle that will begin pick ups at 5:00am for volunteers. The commute from the parking lot to Quail Hollow is around 35 minutes so plan accordingly. You need to arrive on site to sign in at least 15 minutes before your shift.
There is an UBER drop off at 8801 Park Road, this is for UBER only. There is not on-site drop off or pick up.
If you are walking enter at the main entrance on Gleneagles Rd, there is a K Lot where the tents were set up for volunteer sign in during orientation.
Arrival and Sign In:
You must arrive at Quail Hollow 15 minutes before your shift. The shuttle will drop volunteers off at the main entrance where you will sign in and be given your stand location and a map. You must also sign in at your stand on the GREEN sign in sheet.
Stand Rules:
There will people designated as cashiers and food runners at each stand. There is a picture attached to this email that shows the tablet we will be using and what we will be serving. There will be a stand manager at each concession stand that helps us and logs in to all of the tablets.
- Out stands will be fully stocked when we arrive, it is our responsibility to keep the stands stocked for the next shift.
- We will only accept cash and credit payments (no apple pay or checks).
- We will be provided with a snack and a meal during our shift.
- Short breaks will be given but must be approved by the stand manager.
- Any transaction over $25 must be signed for by the customer and all receipts will be emailed.
- If serving alcohol the cashier has to check everyone’s ID
- Cashier’s must keep cash in the register at all times.
- Stand Managers will count out the registers at the end of each shift.

International House plays an important role in America's citizen diplomacy efforts by partnering with the U.S. Department of State and United States Agency for International Development to implement two U.S.Government sponsored programs: the International Visitor Leadership Program and Community Connections Program.
