Would you like to be a part of our mobile volunteer team? We need a team of reliable, self-motivated with great communication skills to show up at local events and talk about who we are and hand out information.
For example; We are ramping up for our Farmer Market Season which happens every Saturday from 10 am - 3 pm July 22 - December 16, at 4521 Telegraph Ave. The mobile volunteer team would hand out fliers, or set up a tent at local festivals.
The farmers market mission is to bring culturally relevant, non-GMO, organic food items from Black farmers and other socially disadvantaged farmers to the Bay Area.
You would learn about who we are and why we do what we do and then go out and communicate our story. If you feel connected to this message, social justice, food justice, or promoting the consumption of plant base healthy foods, you would be perfect for the team.
