Each summer thousands of children from across Pennsylvania and Delaware experience the great outdoors at The Salvation Army's Camp Ladore located in Waymart, Pennsylvania. Camp Ladore is situated on 1,200 acres of land among picturesque Pocono mountain ranges that surround a 265 acre lake. The camp is owned and operated by The Salvation Army, and our programs take full advantage of the natural resources for contributing to the spiritual, educational, social and recreational needs of every camper. The Salvation Army of Greater Philadelphia sends children from Greater Philadelphia that may not normally be able to have the pleasure of attending camp.

The Salvation Army is in need volunteers to assist with the camp parent meetings as well as camp check-in days.
· Parents are asked to bring their child's medicine to a parent meeting a week prior to camp. The medical personnel will make sure the doctors’ orders on the application actually match what they have with them. This allows them 1 week to get the medications in sync if there are any issues.

· NOTE: Volunteers will have no legal responsibility. Volunteers are only verifying what has been provided on the form

Parent Meetings
June 21 from 1 to 3PM and 6 to 7:30PM
July 19 from 1 to 3PM and 6 to 7:30PM

Camp Check-In
June 28th from 8AM to 11AM
