Outreach and Community Engagement Manager

Our outreach and Community engagement manager will combine research and interpersonal skills to identify and engage with potential donors and partners among local businesses and schools and churches in New England.

Responsibilities include:

- conducting research online to compile a list of local businesses and schools who could partner up with the Fund to provide not just financial donations, but also food and supplies for the refugee schools.

- obtain contact information and reach out to the potential partners on that list, making them aware of the Clarette Fund and gauging their interest in working with us

- draft and manage donations letters and related outreach communications, including emails and phone calls, and work with the social media coordinator to generate posters, fliers, and other outreach-related materials

- must be available for at least 15 hours a week

-Meet with local organizations/businesses to explain fund initiatives and partnerships

Requirements:

- good communication skills and presentation skills, persuasive writer and speaker

- problem-solving and customer service skills

- value communication and interpersonal engagement, the ability to make phone calls and maintain frequent contact with various potential partners

- demonstrate initiative and self-directedness
