Birthday Party Planning for Senior Citizens

ORGANIZATION: Community Action Partnership of Orange County

Anaheim Independencia Family Resource Center offers a free daily Senior Program for anyone 65 and up. Senior Prorgrams are so special because it gives seniors something to look forward to everyday. They get an opportunity to socialize, have fun, receive a free meal and be part of a supportive and welcoming environment.

Our Senior Program is also a place where each individual can still feel appreciated and be celebrated on their birthday. As people get older each additional year becomes that much more significant and that much more precious.

That is why we are looking for a creative and motivated individual to plan birthday parties for our seniors. It is sure to be a very fun, unique and rewarding experience.

Sponsors to find donations in order to pay for small gifts, decorations, and cake are welcome. It would also be appreciated if you would simply like to come in and interact with our seniors and help set up decorations.

Thank you for volunteering.
