Amanda the Panda is looking for a volunteer to drive our 15 passenger van to provide transportation for support group participant who otherwise would not be able to attend our programming.
Our Summer Support Group will be held June 12-July 24 (not meeting July 3) Monday evenings from 5:45-7:30 pm. The volunteer would need to pick up the van and participants prior to the start time (about an hour before programming, but varies depending on participants locations), drop them off for programming, and take them back home after program concludes at 7:30pm and return the van.
The volunteer will need to have a valid driver's license, chauffer's license, pass a driving record check, pass a background check, and a child and dependent adult abuse check.

EveryStep, formerly known as HCI Care Services & Visiting Nurse Services of Iowa, has been offering care and support for Iowans for many decades.
Our roots date back to 1908, when a group of nurses saw the need for public health nursing in Des Moines and founded an organization to fulfill that mission.
Since then, EveryStep has led the charge to address a wide variety of vital community health care and social service needs, offering prenatal support and home visits to new moms, assistance to immigrants and refugees, compassionate hospice and home care services, and grief and loss support.
