Get outside with us and help make the park a more beautiful place! Volunteers will pitch in to clean up Piedmont Park. Volunteer for 30 minutes - 1+ hour(s). Stay afterwards to decorate pumpkins & cool off with some lite bites and free drinks!
- Project will be outdoors in Piedmont Park
- No previous experience is necessary, just a willingness to pitch in, get a little dirty and have some fun making a tangible difference in the park
- All volunteers need closed-toed shoes and clothes that can get a little dirty
- Age requirement: 5 and up. Volunteers under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian or adult chaperone volunteer with them
- All volunteers must sign a liability waiver
- Volunteers under the age of 18 must have this waiver signed in advance by their parent or legal guardian
- For all projects, we have all of the tools, gloves and supplies on hand, making it easier for you
- We encourage volunteers to bring a refillable water bottle
- This experience is ideal for a family, individual or group
- Physical activity such as bending, lifting, pulling, and kneeling is required
Schedule
- 5-6:45 PM - volunteer for ? hour - 1 hour
- 6:00-7:30 PM - Pumpkin decorating, conversation, lite bites and free drinks!

Description
Piedmont Park Conservancy is the nonprofit organization, working with the City of Atlanta for the preservation of historic Piedmont Park. Since our inception in 1989, the Conservancy has successfully restored the historic portion of Piedmont Park. The Conservancy has raised and invested more than $60 million for park beautification, maintenance/security, programs, and also includes a 53-acre expansion of green space. The Piedmont Park Conservancy has successfully transformed the once dilapidated Park into the most visited in green space in Atlanta. The Conservancy currently manages more than 90 percent of the Park’s daily maintenance care and security.
