Bay County Habitat for Humanity is excited to kick-off our 4th year working in the One-Ways Neighborhood on the West side of Bay City! Our goal is to repair, weatherize, and revitalize 15 homes this year!
Bay County Habitat's #NeighborhoodRevitalizatio n is possible thanks to the generosity and support of hundreds of volunteers, our sponsors The Dow Chemical Company , Bay Area Community Foundation , Bay City Electric Light & Power , Chemical Bank , Consumers Energy , United Way of Bay County , and many other businesses, churches, and organizations.
Volunteers will be working on a variety of home improvement and repair projects including painting, landscaping, repairing and replacing porches, and building ramps. Shifts are available from 7:30 to 12:00 and 1:00 to 5:00, each day with lunch at 12:00 noon. A t-shirt is provided for every volunteer. Contact us if you'd like to help.

Description
Bay County Habitat for Humanity is an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International. We are an non-profit, ecumenical Christian ministry founded on the convition that every man, woman, and child should have a decent, safe, and affordable place to live. We build with people in need regardless of race or religion. We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds.
Today, Habitat for Humanity has built more than 500,000 houses, sheltering 2.5 million people worldwide. Locally, Bay County Habitat has build or rehabilitated 43 homes in Bay County.
Since September 2007, Bay County Habitat for Humanity has operated a ReStore located in Essexville. Selling donated goods, all the proceeds go towards building homes in Bay County. The ReStore sells building materials, cabinets, lighting and plumbing fixtures, appliances, hardware , and other household items.
