The Brown House

You can join the ongoing effort to rehabilitate the Historic 1903 Brown House in Stayton as we become a community event space. Brown House Event Center needs volunteer help to accomplish the following:

  • Fundraising, community outreach, publicity, corporate sponsorships
  • Board members with skills in fundraising, marketing, volunteer recruitment, community outreach, networking
  • Help with development of educational programming
  • Archiving our historic collections of papers
  • Skilled tradespeople and helpers to complete restoration projects

The Santiam Heritage Foundation is restoring the historic Brown House in Stayton Oregon. The house is used for community social and cultural events and will provide office space for businesses or non-profit organizations.

Description

The Santiam Heritage Foundation, Inc is a recognized Oregon 501(c)(3) charitable organization. It is organized exclusively for non-political, charitable, educational purposes. Specifically, the purpose is to raise and administer funds to restore the Charles and Martha Brown House and establish an endowment to support operations, progress, and services to the community.
