Looking for a way to get involved and give back to your community this summer? Through AmeriCorps VISTA at the University of South Carolina, we are working on some summer service projects and we're looking for students to help out.
We have one summer project coming up in June helping a community partner rebuild homes. All the volunteers will meet at USC's campus for a brief training prior to the project. If you are interested please indicate if you are available for one or both of the following dates and times:
Wednesday, June 7th 8:30 AM- 12:30 PM
Tuesday, June 20th 8:30 AM- 12:30 PM

AmeriCorps VISTA (Volunteers in Service to America) members bring their passion and perseverance where the need is greatest: to organizations that help eradicate poverty. The most pressing challenges we face as a nation require the most courageous and creative people to address them. AmeriCorps is searching for volunteers to serve the local community in a number of ways. As part of a partnership with the University of South Carolina, we encourage students to volunteer but opportunities are open to the public and all ages.
