The ReStore is a local affiliate of the non-profit, Habitat for Humanity, that resells items that have been donated from throughout the community. We accept and sell building supplies, household decor, furniture, cabinetry, garden supplies, appliances, etc. All the money that we generate goes to building and providing affordable housing for and in our local community. So, with that being said, an average job that we may ask a volunteer to do is to maybe organize a shelf or clean some newly donated appliances, or if they are able-bodied, then they might help transport some items out to a customer's vehicle. The ReStore offers a low-stress environment where volunteers have some flexibility in how they choose to contribute. Ultimately, according to a volunteers skill-set, we will determine a job that works best for them.
