Mission Statement

Our Mission is to prevent and help end homelessness in Lake County Florida. Our Vision is to help individuals and families who are experiencing homelessness return to the community to resume and maintain a production lifestyle.

Description

The outreach ministry has the definded resources to qualify as a lake county drop in center for the homeless. The outreach ministry provides faith base resoureses, group counseling, and one on one mentoring to assist clients on their road of recovery. The Ministry also provides weekly Celebrate Recovery groups to clients struggling with all adductions. Celebrate Recovery is a faith base program that helps individuals overcome their hurts, habits and hang-ups. Clients can also attend weekly anger management classes. The daily drop in center provides cooked meals breakfast and lunch, for five days a week. We provide a shower and laundry facilies for individuals who are experiencing homelessness. The Ministry serves as a community food pantry and a lake county resourse center. We serve as an access center for children and families, which assists in applying for state monthly benefits such as food stamps, medicaid and or cash assistances. We provide assistance with identiy recovery for those who have losted their Floirda Identifications. We serve as a job resourse center and provide computer and phone use. We conduct a case managment program called Soar which assists individuals with applying for their disabilty benefits.
