We are a group of friends who from difference coastal provinces of Vietnam, studied together then worked in Hanoi and HCMC for a while. We were all quite success in Hanoi. However, at some point in our life, we all found out that if all people from provinces move away to work in big cities, provinces will be forever "province" and we started feeling guilty and started returning home.

We all have a dream to build up an "Academy of Change" which aims at changing the mindset of local people, inspiring kids about Global Citizenship concept and help them "mastering their life in a rapidly evolving world".

Our dream is started with a small English learning center (in each of our hometown). Currently we are in Nam Dinh, Thanh Hoa, Vinh, Nghe An and Quang Nam.

Here we are currently focus on building up the trust in local community for our brand and to help kids achieve below skills:

• English conversation ability
• Living Skills
• The ability to make decision themselves

Our Center(s) is operating from 5.00 - 9.00 PM during weekdays and 8:00 AM - 9:00 PM during weekends. Tuesday is day off for all teachers, volunteers and staffs. Teaching lesson will consist of 2 parts, to enhance English conversation ability, cultural exchange for students.

Goal:

• Learn English to use it in real life;
• To learn more the life, the world’s system and how it works, what skills do children need to equipped for their future,

Group Lesson Methods:

• Playing games, singing song, watching film building projects together, eating a meal together, take pictures, visiting local attractions (per class choice)
• Using art, handmade, music, dance, etc for learning more about yourself and casual conversation

• For the other day of enhancing English conversation ability and cultural exchange, students follow student’s book that we chose for each level as a guideline. Class is run for 1hour and a half. You have 20 munities to add on your personal message that you want to share with our students in every class on "out of text book" session.

There will always have teaching assistant and a Volunteer Coordinator who will assist you with teaching methodology, lesson plan and so on. We are not 1 step close to the sea. There are some beautiful rice field, salt marsh and lovely Christian villages in between. Then you may love to add yourself riding a bike in this peaceful countryside’s picture.

Vietnam is famous for its beach beauty. We are not located at the most beautiful beaches of Vietnam. However, the countryside always have its beauty and the beach is the beach anywhere.

Help needed

• Teach our kids in the best way you can to achieve our mentioned above objectives

As a volunteer you need to have the following skills and attributes:

• High level of English · Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and emails
• An outgoing, friendly and proactive character · Comfortable working with a team or individually
• Good communication skills
• Able to use your own initiative and ask for help when needed

We will provide the following training and support:

• Induction to organization · Full training on all aspects of the role.
• Regular updates on organizational activities
• Support, advice and guidance, from our Volunteer Coordinator

We prefer volunteers, who could stay at least 3 months so that you will learn, make friend with kids, help them with the project that you will get involve in.

Accommodation and Food support

The location (s) is in a small town, all are about 10km close to the sea with many wildly beaches. You are supported to stay in a homestay with separate bedrooms and our host family helping to facilitate your activities. You will have a private room with basic facilities including Wifi, laundry and a kitchen, though you may need to share with other volunteers from time to time. We have 3 rooms, 2 for single and 1 for couple in most of houses. If you are a couple, this will be a great opportunity for you to have a very quiet time together, in the town that no one can see you.
