Love dogs and cats? Want to help homeless dogs and cats find their forever homes! Be part of our weekend adoption event team.
Desert Paws NM holds adoption events at various locations in Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, and Santa Fe throughout the Summer and Fall. Adoption events run 4-6 hours. We are looking for enthusiastic and energetic animal lovers with previous experience handling dogs and cats. Volunteers must be 18 years or older. Groups are welcome to join. Most adoption events are held on Saturdays at the Downtown Growers Market in Albuquerque. Set up begins at 7am and the events end at noon. We also hold adoption events at Whole Foods on Academy and Petsense in Rio Rancho.
We are looking for dedicated volunteers willing to attend adoption events weekly. The dogs and cats will be thankful you helped them find a furever home!
