Over the next year, Wholly H2O is organizing 7-10 nature nerd bioblitzes (one-day community/citizen science events) at various locations in the SF East Bay, CA. These are super fun and engaging 3 hour events that help to link people toan ecosystem in an dynamic way. Our next BioBlitz is June 1st at theAlbany Bulb in Albany, CA. We're looking for a project manager to:

  • work on organizing the events themselves
  • come to the event
  • work with event and promotional partners
  • manage the creation of event and project updates for our mailing list and website (Eventbrite, Constant Contact/WP)
  • oversee outreach for BioBlitzes (FB, instagram, twitter, outreach partners, on our events page, newsletter)
  • input and manage all information in Google Docs
  • follow up for events with partners and public
  • Experience managing a program or project, preferably in the environmental realm (or strong capacity to learn)
  • Experience working with partner organizations (or strong capacity to learn)
  • Self-managing, with input and guidance from the director when needed
  • Fluidity
  • Able to juggle various tasks related to project
  • Familiarity with Google Docs, eventbrite, asana programs (or strong capacity to learn)
  • Deep love for the earth a plus
  • Confidence, calm, and joy. Infectious belly-laughers encouraged!
Please have day time hours available.
