We're growing! An administrative assistant is needed for our growing non-profit dog rescue located in the Montgomery and Chester County, PA regions. Candidates should have strong communication skills and an outgoing personality for this volunteer position that can be done primarily from home. We are seeking a self-starter who is comfortable working independently or with others. Strong organizational and computer skills are a must and a familiarity with Google Drive and Google Docs is a plus. Dog rescue experience is not necessarily required but a willingness to learn about non-profit management will be necessary. Tasks could include basic clerical, volunteer communication and coordination, event organization, and other tasks as needed. This position will require approximately 2-4 hours per week. This will be a fun and rewarding volunteer position for anyone who appreciates the concept of rescue and animal adoption. Arctic Spirit Rescue was created by a group of individuals with over 30 collective years of experience in all aspects of the rescue world. Over time this team developed their own vision of what they felt a rescue group should be. With a passion and experience living with the unique personalities of Northern breed dogs, we came together to bring our ideas and core values to life combined with innovative ideas to make it a positive, fulfilling experience for all. Join us as we grow and evolve to be not just a rescue but a friend and a partner to educate the public to enhance the lives of homeless dogs in the PA, NJ, DE, and MD regions.
