On September 15th, from 9 am until noon, support your local beaches and streams - join us at the Incline Village Recreation Center for the Great Sierra River (& Beach) Clean Up in North Lake Tahoe, Nevada in honor of Coastal Cleanup Day. Coastal Cleanup Day is the largest volunteer cleanup in the world and focuses on sensitive waterways.
Our event volunteers are asked to meet in Incline Village first to sign volunteer waivers and gather supplies. This event sign up is focused on the North-East Shore of Lake Tahoe in the State of Nevada. Other organizations host clean up sites at other locations around Lake Tahoe and throughout the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range on this same date and time. Keep an eye out for Great Sierra River Clean-Up posters in your neck of the woods or visit http://www.sierranevada.ca.gov/our-work/rivercleanup to find out more!
