Friends of the Wild needs more human friends! We currently house 11 animals and we are looking for help!
Primary duties will NOT be animal related - trash/vandalism/gardening walk throughs each morning. Then help with feeding/cleaning/enrichment with the animals is needed each day of the week.
Mornings primarily, to help keep our animal friends friendly and happy. We start work at 9 am and you can expect to complete your tasks by 11am.
Looking for one person each day of the week, will stay connected and informed through the 'CREW' app. A team of 10 is needed to ensure flexibility in your volunteer time.
You will get to become a part of this exclusive team of animal carers, be enriched and enlightened by our animal friends, and we will get your hard work and commitment.

After the closure of the Las Vegas Zoo in 2013, and Roos N More Zoo in 2016 a small group of caring individuals in the downtown community decided it was time to try something new: A successful, non-profit, animal center dedicated to providing quality habitats and enrichment to a small group of interactive and educational animals.
What began as a dream began to make sense as plans were laid and donations began rolling in, in February 2017.
With our doors set to open in early April, we are currently in the planning and creating stage, sourcing reputable breeders and great animals that will meet the needs of our facility and of our environment. Animals first is one of our core values.
Friends of the Wild is proud to offer small group tours 4 days a week, on and off site, affordable 'Field Trips' for schools and groups. As well as a variety of fun events
