The diagnosis of being terminally ill, impacts patients and their loved ones physically, emotionally and spiritually. Often times, people will turn to prayer to help cope with the challenges that a terminally Illness brings. Prayer may be silent or spoken out loud and can be done in a place of worship, in their home, anytime they feel connected with the Holy. Prayers often ask God for help, for guidance, for peace, for understanding and inspiration, for strength and courage as ones deal with the difficulties and joys that life brings.
Our volunteers are trained to come alongside our patients in their final journey offering prayer and support and poems or anything that brings comfort to the patient.
Our days and hours are flexible and we do weekend visits.
We require a background check, drug screening and TB test. No cost to you
