Do you enjoy public speaking and educating others? We may be a great for you! Volunteer with the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society as one of our Budget For Baby Program Instructors! We are looking for volunteers to present our Budget For Baby workshop to soon-to-be parents. If you are organized, enjoy presenting information, and are comfortable with public speaking or want to fine-tune your skills in these areas, this may be a great fit for you! Our Budget For Baby workshop delivers financial education to help our clients prepare for the arrival of a child. We provide full training to our volunteers. Some military knowledge is preferred. This is a great match for military spouses looking to build their resumes and skills and/or make new connections!
We rely on our volunteers to make giving back to our service members and their families a possibility!

Mission Statement
The mission of the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Socitey is to provide, in partnership with the Navy and Marine Corps, financial, educational, and other need based assistance to Sailors, Marines, and their eligible family members and survivors.
Description
We are a private, non-profit, volunteer service organization.
We have multiple opportunities available and provide childcare and mileage reimbursement while you are volunteering.
We operate in an office enviroment on Camp Pendleton, Monday-Friday 8:00-4:00. Our volunteers conduct one on one interviews with members of the military - active, retired, and their family members. We strive to assist our clients with financial self-sufficiency and find solutions to meet their emergency needs.
We also operate a Thrift Store located on Camp Pendleton. Volunteer opportunities are available Monday-Friday 0900-1400. Sale hours are Tuesday & Thursday 1000-1230.
