Seasons Hospice is looking volunteers to help out at Camp Kangaroo! Camp Kangaroo is a bereavement camp designed for children and teens ages 6-17 who have experienced the death of someone close to them.
Camp Kangaroo is free of charge for all campers. Led by grief professionals and trained volunteers from Seasons Hospice, Camp Kangaroo provides a unique opportunity for peer bonding between children and teens facing a similar life circumstance. This weekend-long experience is filled with traditional, fun camp activities combined with grief education and emotional support.
Camp Kangaroo will be held at Covenant Harbor in Lake Geneva.

Description
Hospice is a vision of caring that gives patients with terminal illness choices about how they spend the last days of their lives. Volunteers fill a unique roll in supporting the patient and family as they are the one member of the team whose role is to simply be there for them-- no poking or prodding, no giving medicines or taking temperatures-- the volunteer is there to provide a comforting presence and practical support.
