MDA Muscle Walk Logo
We’re fighting to free individuals — and the families who love them — from the harmful effects of muscular dystrophy, ALS and related life-threatening diseases so they can live longer and grow stronger.

This is a fun-filled event! We anticipate around 100 people to attend, and similar to the other walks that take place, we will have an area where our families can walk and roll to a finish line. We will have face painters, characters, live music, and vendors and sponsors present as well.

Most importantly, at our event, we celebrate LIFE. The diseases and forms of muscular dystrophy that our association cover forces many of our family members to be wheelchair ridden, so we try to provide an event that will focus on all the amazing things they CAN do instead of the things that they cannot do. #liveunlimited.

Please Join Us! We will need volunteers to assist with manning different MDA tables, registration, meeting and greeting, event set up and tear down. We can provide a form to students in need of volunteer hours verifying involvment.

This year’s walk will take place at the Phillippi Estate Park in Sarasota on Saturday, September 30th, from 10am-12pm.
