Power of Produce (POP) Club
Power of Produce (POP) Club program at the Lincoln Park Farmers Market.

We need a take-charge person to run our children's program, Power of Produce (POP) Club, at the market each Sunday. Our. seasonal market is Sunday's, 11 am - 4 pm, June - October with an indoor late November Holiday Market.

The Power of Produce (POP) Club is a nationally recognized kids program that started at the Oregon City Farmers Market, Oregon City, Oregon in May 2011 to empower kids to make healthy food choices and introduce them to where their food comes from. The Power of Produce initiative seeks to develop the next generation of healthy eaters. The program helps to empower kids to make good food choices. Kids can join the club anytime.

Each Sunday at the Lincoln Park Farmers Market, kids ages 5 - 12 can participate in our POP Club by the parents registering them.

Registered kids will get a weekly $2 market voucher to spend on market produce or food producing plants. Kids will also get a bag, a "Two Bite Club" button as well. There will be weekly activities for the kids as well as a monthly "Two Bite" Club to try new produce.

A coordinator is needed to manage the program each week, work with the kids, sign them in as well as register others.
