High School grads

MC Inc. in partnership with Alexandria Redevelopment and Housing Authority (ARHA) is seeking volunteer facilitators to help mold a group of high school teens into future leaders. The Momentum Leadership Program serves low-income minority youth who are also residents of government subsidized housing. This is a yearlong program and participants are treated to a variety of development workshops, skills training, professional development, college and career readiness, and there is also a specific focus on civic engagement and volunteerism. The program has been in operation since 2011 and the vast majority of our program graduates have gone on to attend a tertiary institution.
