Pancreatic cancer is currently the third leading cause of all cancer-related death in the United States - and impacts every state across the country. In order to rewrite the future of pancreatic cancer we need communities nationwide to join together and create a movement. This national movement needs your leadership and vision to continue to thrive and grow!
As the Affiliate Chair for the San Francisco Affiliate, you will facilitate the health and development of the volunteer network in your community, collaborate with local supporters as well as the National Office and lead a team of passionate volunteer leaders as you strategically build YOUR local movement. In this leadership role you will help raise critical awareness, support and funds from your local community to help fuel our fight against pancreatic cancer!
Become a volunteer leader in your community and Wage Hope with us today!

Mission Statement
The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network is a nationwide network of people dedicated to working together to advance research, support patients and create hope for those affected by pancreatic cancer.
Description
The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network is the only national organization creating hope in a comprehensive way through research, patient support, community outreach and advocacy for a cure. The organization raises money for direct private funding of research--and advocates for more aggressive federal research funding of medical breakthroughs in prevention, diagnosis and treatment of pancreatic cancer.
The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network fills the void of information and options by giving patients and caregivers reliable, personalized information they need to make informed decisions. We create a sense of hope and community so no one has to face pancreatic cancer alone. The organization helps support individuals and communities all across the country work together to raise awareness and funds to find a cure for pancreatic cancer.
