We are looking for Coordinators for our We Hack Too launch event on Friday, June 23rd.

We Hack Too is a virtual hackathon that includes an 1-day event across 11 cities inside Microsoft Stores. The mission is to empower young girl and women in business and STEM disciplines across industries.

The cities where we can use volunteer Coordinators are: Connecticut, Houston, Seattle and Toronto.

The Coordinators are needed 8 am ~ 7:30 pm.The event basically entails professionals collaborate with high school and college level women to develop their products and business strategies. Areas of focus include; product development and design, marketing, advertising, customer acquisitions, finance, user research, prototyping, etc. There are also three 2-hour coding / gaming workshops for girls ages 8 ~ 13.

We Hack Too is an 8-day virtual hackathon that includes a 1-day launch event acors 11 citie. Please help us to educate and empower more girls in tech and STEM disciplines across industires. You can learn more about the initiative by visiting www.wehacktoo.org.

Description

B~STEM Project’s primary focus is to provide young girls and women opportunities to gain in depth insight and understanding into the business of STEM disciplines across industries. We also offer an extension of holistic programming for both boys and girls that takes a comprehensive and interdisciplinary approach to STEM instruction.

BSTEM allows students to engage, learn and grow on both an academic and personal level. Our programs offer exposure into a variety of industries from entertainment, advertising and fashion to robotics, agriculture and life sciences. We simulate real life scenarios with a curriculum that’s project driven. The knowledge and skills acquired are reinforced through practice, coaching and mentoring by industry specific professionals.
