The Senior Center of Boulder City delivers hot meals daily, to clients that are homebound and cannot leave their homes. SCBC is the only senior center in the county with an all volunteer crew for the Meals on Wheels program! With approx. With 5 routes of deliveries per day and 15 clients on each route, this program also serves as a wellness check for them.
SCBC is currently looking for an addition 5 volunteers to deliver meals to our seniors. Volunteer must be 21 or older and be able to pass a soft background check. A copy of license, registration, and insurance will be kept in a secure cabinet in the Executive director's office for insurance reasons.
Generally, volunteers will deliver 1 route per week, but if you are available other days, you may do more! A route takes about 1 hour to complete.
