Adoption Counselors needed to assist with finding cats their new furever homes. Adoptions are held on Sundays afternoons 1:00pm-4:00pm. This time includes preparation as well as cleanup before and after adoptions. Volunteers work with other Adoption Counselors picking the right cat and ensuring the right forever home for the cat. This position includes being able to work with contracts as all cats are Adopted out on a legal and binding contract as well as do a follow-up check on your adopted cat. Being an Adoption Counselor involves direct contact with our cats. As you learn about their personalities and behavior, you will know what kind of home is best for them.
It is very Rewarding work.
TRAINING IS PROVIDED.
Applicants must have good people skills and be compassionate to the needs of animals. Volunteers can volunteer weekly or at least twice a month once trained. Adoptions take place during the week and weekends. Resume's can be submitted to kc@kittyconnection .net

All the pets in our organization are fostered by volunteers until loving homes are found. We also provide low cost spay/neuter programs and work to educate the public on the importance of being a responsible pet owner. Kitty Connection is an all volunteer organization and runs solely on donations.
