ORGANIZATION: Cascade Writers

  • Programming Lead will oversee all programming volunteers
  • Plan and schedule speakers and programming for paid events that don't have other leads
  • Oversee and check in with the library liaisons about their programming
  • Invite authors, agents, and editors to events and stay within approved budget constraints
  • Check in with volunteers throughout the year to work out speaking topics
  • Must be knowledgeable about writing industry to know what types of speakers to invite
  • Must be a people person and able to reach out to high-level professionals in the writing industry with professionalism

Cascade Writers puts on writing workshops and author events all over the Pacific Northwest and partners with many library systems to host learning opportunities for writers and for readers.
