- Programming Lead will oversee all programming volunteers
- Plan and schedule speakers and programming for paid events that don't have other leads
- Oversee and check in with the library liaisons about their programming
- Invite authors, agents, and editors to events and stay within approved budget constraints
- Check in with volunteers throughout the year to work out speaking topics
- Must be knowledgeable about writing industry to know what types of speakers to invite
- Must be a people person and able to reach out to high-level professionals in the writing industry with professionalism
