Pack Your Back presents Race to Educate, a fun run to raise money to fulfill our mission: providing students in need with backpacks and school supplies. We need your help in order to support this amazing cause in the Detroit area this summer. Volunteers will be needed to help set up, tear down, work water stations, provide first aid, and more! This will be an awesome opportunity and volunteer credit is available. Volunteers will also receive a t-shirt. ALL VOLUNTEERS DO NOT NEED TO BE CPR CERTIFIED.

Mission Statement
Ever too often, parents do not put school supplies at the top of their shopping list due to other expenses that are more of a priority, such as food and heating. Pack Your Back is committed to providing students in need with backpacks and various types of school supplies. The only way a student can succeed in the classroom is if they have the proper supplies to do so.
Description
In 2016, Central Michigan University students identified the financial burdens faced by families due to the recent economic downturns, and the underfunding of the Michigan public education system. Pack Your Back was created by those CMU students to help supply younger students living in underprivileged locations with the proper resources to succeed in the classroom.
