Redemptive Work is a small non-profit working with displaced, disabled, formerly incarcerated or other socially outcast persons to create sustainable living situations. We are looking for Project Managers to organize our Writing and Infrastructure Teams as we write copy for our website, social media, grant applications as well as build policies and procedures needed for growing nonprofit.
Redemptive Work is comprised of several disparate volunteer cells. We gather online in groups of two or three to teach and learn strategies that help grassroots organizations change the world. We think, write, research and pursue agencies and foundations interested in our work. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Project Manager will be working closely with these cells (we call them teams) to provide valuable leadership and task management. Teams update our website and social media pages, collaborate in virtual space, build a brand for a non-profit and pursue grant funding, and we will do so in an ethical community with others who seek a just society. While we are all effective, passionate people, we have a hard time connecting each subgroup to organize our work product efficiently. Currently, our entire organization runs on volunteer time - we need help focusing that time.
Specific tasks for this role: attend multiple meetings throughout the week, take minutes and keep a record of assigned tasks, follow-up with subgroups working on similar project pieces to prevent missing steps or duplicating work, keep a calendar of dates due
