The Hppkstown Volunteer Fire Department has a need for citizens willing to operate our fire trucks. The expectation is that you would attend the 16 hour Emergency Vehicle Operator Course and learn to operate equipment on the vehicles you would drive.

The mission of the Hookstown Volunteer Fire Department is: 1. The protection of life and property 2. The acquisition, ownership and control of firefighting, lifesaving, and life and property preservation equipment, and the proper and necessary housing of same; 3. promotion of the general welfare and sociability of our Members; 5. The promotion of various organizations, social or otherwise; 6. the promotion of community, citizenship, public safety, or raising moneys for the benefit of such purposes .
