"DONUT DAY" FUNDRAISER TO BENEFIT MEALS ON WHEELS SENIORS IN KANE & McHENRY COUNTY JUNE 2-3 & 9-10
The Salvation Army Golden Diners, a Meals on Wheels program, is pleased to announce another running of our annual fund raiser, Donut Day. Please consider joining us to collect donations to further help support the Golden Diners Senior Nutrition program serving seniors in need in Kane & Mc Henry counties.
Dates: June 2-3 & 9-10 Hours: 9am-5:30pm / 2 Hour shifts
Location: Collect donations at retail stores in St. Charles, Geneva & Batavia
Staff greets you at store location and provides vest & donation box.
Volunteer alone or bring a friend or family members. Great opportunity to introduce children to volunteer for a local cause.

Our goal is to help keep healthy seniors age 60+ healthy and allow those who are ailing to regain or retain their health by providing dining sites and Home Delivered Meals in Kane, Kendall and McHenry Counties in Illinois.
Description
The Salvation Army Golden Diners began in 1973 with 3 sites in Kane County and has grown to 20 sites in three counties. We have over 4,000 participants and serve approximately 1,000 meals each weekday, 56% of them are delivered to frail elderly.
