Meals at Home is celebrating 50 years of meal deliveries on Chicago's Northshore. Help us commemorate this momentous occasion with your graphic design skills. Meals at Home is seeking a creative volunteer Graphic Designer with up-to-date knowledge to design marketing and communications solutions with high visual impact. You will work on a variety of products including websites, social media, newsletters, print mailings, flyers and more. You will work in cooperation with our marketing committee, webmaster, and staff.

The goal of the Volunteer Graphic Designer will be to increase brand awareness, recruit new members, and communicate effectively and creatively with our shareholders through dynamic and impactful content. The primary focus for 2016-2017 will be on Meals at Home’s 50 th Anniversary event in 2018.

Requirements

• Have proven graphic design experience, a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design is preferred.
• Must be creative, self-motivated, knowledgeable and able to meet deadlines.
• Have ability to communicate and present ideas thoughtfully.
• Have knowledge of and access to appropriate software and media requirements

Time Commitment

• We anticipate that the Volunteer Graphic Designer will spend about 5 hours a week working on various projects with the potential for more time during peak seasons around major events and publications.
• Attend monthly 1 hour Marketing Committee Meetings as able.
