Volunteers are needed to serve patients during their end of life journey. Kindred Hospice is dedicated to providing volunteer services to our patients as a form of additional support during their time of need. Just a few hours a month and a caring heart can make a difference to many families. As Hospice Volunteers we have the opportunity to build relationships with our patients and affirm their lives. Kindred Hospice provides support and care to persons in the last stages of a life limiting illness or disease. As a team, our focus is on enhancing our patients' comfort level and overalll quality of life. Care can be provided in a variety of settings such as home, assisted living facilities, nursing homes and hospitals.
We strive to create a unique care plan for each of our patients that enlists the expertise of Registered Nurses, Spiritual Care Counselors, Home Health Aides, Medical Social Workers, Registered Dieticians, Volunteers, and Bereavement Counselors.
