Board treasurer volunteer position - Amherst-based nonprofit research organization related to alternative energy is looking for a volunteer to serve as board treasurer. We have someone keeping our books and whom you would have to supervise. Requires up to 3-4 hours per quarter and attendance at quarterly board meetings. You can work from your home except for board meetings which you would have to attend in person; they take place in Amherst or Northampton, MA. Scientific knowledge not required, non-profit experience preferred. Send CV and references to mrocco@quantalresearch.org

In addition to being dedicated to basic research, the organization mentors volunteers who participate in research teams.
