The Book Shelver organizes, shelves, & straightens books according to the Dewey Decimal system. The Book Shelver also performs routine shelf checks to ensure materials have been shelved correctly. No heavy lifting required.
The library asks that you volunteer for a 2 1/2 hour shift, either once a week, or 2 or 3 times per month. You can select the shift of your choice during library open hours.

Description
The Senior Volunteer Program of Venango County provides opportunities for people age 55 and over to make a difference in their community through volunteer service. SVP of Venango County volunteers contribute anywhere from a few to many hours a week, helping to make Venango County a great place to live!
