Wildfires are devastating communities across California, causing more than 300,000 people to evacuate their homes and threatening many more. The Camp Fire in Northern California -- one of three blazing across the state -- is the most destructive in state history. We want to ensure that, if you are in an affected community, you find access to shelter. And if you are looking to help with disaster relief efforts, you know the most effective ways to contribute.

Education, Travel & Culture (ETC) is a non-profit organization providing inbound and outbound international exchange opportunities for over 400 high school students each year from over 15 different countries. Since 1998 ETC has maintained an outstanding reputation for providing personal attention and service throughout the entire process.
Join our team and work with the most amazing students from around the world! We need volunteers who are willing to be ambassadors and promote our mission of spreading international understanding and goodwill. ETC volunteers work with volunteer host families, local high schools, serve as mentors to these students while they’re in the U.S., help with booths and festivals and monthly activities, social media and much more. If you have a passion for working with the youth and appreciate cultural diversity, we want to hear from you!
The Local Coordinator Mentor position is family-friendly, flexible, and fun and requires a minimum of 5 hours per week.
