The "Big" Golf Tournament was created in 2003 for Bigs, along with their friends and colleagues, to join together for a great day of golf to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Massachusetts Bay. Since its inception, the tournament has played an integral role in helping the agency serve Bigs and Littles - raising more than $430,000 to help us reach more children in Boston’s highest-risk communities and match them with a reliable mentor.
We need volunteers who are interested in spending a day on the golf course posted at specific challenge holes, to run and oversee specific course competitions (On the Green Challenge, selling raffle tickets, etc.). Lunch will be provided!

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Massachusetts Bay (BBBSMB) is a fresh and innovative organization that is making a real difference in the lives of youth across Massachusetts Bay. With over 1,800 youth currently being served and over 60 years of experience fostering professionally supported one-to-one friendships between young people and adult mentors, BBBSMB is helping to strengthen communities by providing kids with an invested caring adult mentor in their lives.
Being a Big Brother begins by starting a new friendship and is as simple as hanging out together a few hours, a couple times a month. With just a one-year commitment, being a Big Brother can change the life of a child forever.
