Veterans have protected and cared for us, and our country. Through Hospice for Heroes, we honor Veterans by providing a hospice care program that recognizes and responds to the unique needs of the Veteran and their family.

Hospice for Heroes integrates all the holistic and specialized pieces of Hospice Care, like pain and symptom management, with special services designed just for veterans. All Veterans in the Hospice for Heroes service get pinned by a ranking member of the military force in which he or she served; visits from volunteers who are also Veterans; and guidance with military benefits, records recovery and burial arrangements.

Being a Hospice for Heroes Volunteer allows you the unique ability to connect with Veteran patients and their families;sharing your military history, reminiscing about life stories, and simply walking along side them on their final journey home.
