Romania is a country adorned with medieval cities, painted monasteries and towering mountains. Yet her people are even more captivating than her beauty, having survived a tumultuous history and revolutions with grace and pride.
We are asking you to volunteer in Romania to help us care for needy and abandoned babies and children. Regardless of the circumstances of their birth, youth understand the nurturing touch and kind words of someone who cares for them.
You can also teach English to teens in school classrooms. Either way, you can contribute to Romania's children's life-long development!
We work with three local partners to help meet children's needs:
- A hospital that cares for underweight, disabled and abandoned babies.
- Child Protective Services provides safe housing.
- A local Department of Education directs our conversational English projects.
Don't worry if you don't have prior experience: No special skills required. Families and individuals of all ages can contribute to childcare and teaching projects.
This is your chance to really help a child in Romania!
