We are located in Santa Clara County, California.

Description:

We are looking for a conscientious, detail-oriented Web Editor/Developer to support our Internet marketing needs. As part of the PRERNA marketing team, you will be making regular updates and adding new content to our website. Volunteers must meet critical deadlines and be willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities:

* Develop and update web pages, including layout, text, adding video, images, graphics and command buttons as needed

* Maintain the website with ongoing random checks and contacting SquareSpace as needed for any design or technical issues

* Test the website after updates (Firefox, Chrome, Safari) to make sure it fulfills all requirements; if needed, fix any bugs and make adjustments

* Ensure web pages are developed to measure traffic through Google Analytics

* Assist with measuring the performance of the website and recommending solutions on how to increase traffic

* Other projects as required

Qualifications:

* Excellent technical skills and knowledge, including web development packages and other software, including Adobe Photoshop (preferred)

* Knowledge of SquareSpace preferred, but not required

* Ability to use one or more scripting and programming languages. Common languages include HTML, JavaScript and CSS (optional for development)

* Good problem-solving skills.
