Emergency Food Pantry

Our Emergency Food Pantry serves over 250 families in a month, and our numbers are increasing! We need volunteers to help serve our clients on Mondays and Wednesdays each week. During a regular shift, you'll need to assist in receiving orders, reading the menu, packing bags of food from our pantry according to family size, distributing the food to the public, and assisting with crowd control. The Emergency Food Pantry can get extremely busy, and we need upbeat people to help keep the energy and environment of the Resource Center positive.

Volunteers must be able to stand for 2 hours, be able to lift boxes that weigh up to 25lbs (occasionally), be able to maneuver around a small workspace, work well with others, have a positive and outgoing personality, and be non-judgmental.

The shift that we need volunteers for is for 2 hour shifts between 12:00 and 4:00 PM on Monday and Wednesday afternoons. There may be other hours available, please contact us for more information. Adults, and seniors who are interested, please contact us as soon as possible for more details, or with any questions!
