We need VOLUNTEERS to help with set-up of EXPO event on Friday, June 16. Set-up of outdoor round pen for horses will include loading flatbed with all supplies from our Keller location and transport to Grapevine lake for set-up. Volunteers will be needed event day, June 17, to help sidewalk and lead horses. (this requires you to complete volunteer orientation on June, 10th 9-12 at Reins of Hope 2400 Keller-Haslet Rd, Keller.)
This event is a FREE event for individuals and families living with a disability and is for all ages. Reins of Hope will be providing the free horseback rides for this event but ACCESSLife needs additional volunteers for all the activities they have planned for this 1 day event that reaches so many families touched by a disability.

Mission Statement
Reins of Hope Therapeutic Riding Center exists to support the Christian ministry of providing rehabilitation services to handicapped children and adults with various disabilities. To serve this mission, Reins of Hope shall: • Provide scholarships to appropriate patients/volunteers with financial needs • Fund research to validate the effectiveness of hippotherapy and therapeutic riding • Recruit, retain, and recognize volunteers for Reins of Hope • Accept donations of equipment, horses, and monies that facilitate provision of services at Reins of Hope. • Provide necessary staff support to facilitate hippotherapy, therapeutic riding, and the working of the Therapeutic Riding Center. • Promote the services provided by Reins of Hope so that the DFW area and surrounding counties can be served. • Maintain the fiscal plant of Reins of Hope as needed, in order to provide safe environment for high quality programs.
Description
Through Reins of Hope, quality equine assisted Christian healthcare is provied for children and adults with physical, mental, emotional, and learning disabilities. Volunteers are the "life-blood" of our organization as each therapy session requires three volunteers and each day we start by 9 a.m. and end usually by 8 p.m.
