Kittens sure are cute!
Help us get cats and kittens to the clinic so we can stop the problem of cat overpopulation in our area!

The Spay and Neuter Assistance Program (SNAP) in Cortland runs a low-cost spay/neuter clinic every Monday and sometimes on additional dates during the month. The clinic serves low-income families who want to get their dog or cat fixed and also alters rescued animals in adoption programs. We need volunteers to help out with non-medical tasks during the clinic, such as helping with sign-in, post-op, paperwork, cleaning, and other tasks. Shifts are 2 to 4 hours.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to change the world for homeless cats in Central New York...four paws at a time!

Description

CNY Cat Coalition's programs include rescue and adoption of homeless cats and low-cost spay/neuter programs for both rescuers and low-income individuals. We operate a spay/neuter line for the public to get appointments for their cats. We also have a call line for the public to report stray, feral, injured, or unwanted animals. Our network of volunteer rescuers and fosters work directly with the public on situations related to hotline calls. We also adopt out animals to screened forever homes through Petfinder.com, partner stores, and private adoption events.
