Pierce County Parks & Recreation

June 2, 2018, is National Trails Day, and what better way to celebrate than by giving our trails some extra love? Pitch in for Parks, Pierce County Parks & Recreation's drop-in volunteer program, invites you to learn about invasive plant species along our trails, their control, and how you can prevent their spread. This is a learn-by-doing event, so wear your muck boots if you've got them and be prepared to get dirty. Pitch in for Parks is a great opportunity for all ages and abilities, (ages 15 and under with guardian) to pitch in and help your community. This is a rain or shine event, so dress for the weather! Contact Jenn at (253) 798-4148 or jsergen@co.pierce.wa.us for more information.
