The San Diego Young Artists Music Academy (SDYAMA) in Partnership with the San Diego Police Department Southeast Division and the Jacobs Center for Neighborhood Innovation proudly presents Peace in These Streets lll. This will be an exciting community, multi-cultural music and arts festival that will be held at the beautiful Jacobs Center, Friendship Park, located in the 4th district of Southeast San Diego.
The theme this year will be "Trunk A Treat", which will include a safe Halloween activity for the children and youth of this underserved community. We are planning to have a major concert and music competition and will need help in all areas ongoing and day of. Volunteers will have the opportunity to assist in:
Ongoing
Start Time: 2:00 pm (Tuesday thru Friday)
End Time: 6:00 pm (Tuesday thru Friday)
- Marketing (phone calls, selling ads, booths, raffles, snack bar)
- Promotions (flyer distribution, social media, presentations)
- Ambassadors (parking lot, crowd control, security, set up and tear down, runners, programs, giveaways, vendor helper, SDYAMA booth, stage hand, coordinators assistant, music director assistant, maintenance, transportation, other duties as assigned).
- Social Media, live tweeting on Twitter.

Description
San Diego Young Artists Music Academy is a 501 ( c) 3 nonprofit that offers a variety of after-school and summer programs to every adolescent in need of our program, no matter their socioeconomic, racial, religious or cultural background. Our programs include choir, vocal coaching, drums, percussion, piano, guitar, music production, and different dance styles.
