Project Description:
The Support Volunteer will assist the Marketing and Communications team with administrative projects.


Project Scope/Primary Responsibilities:

  • In collaboration with the Philanthropy team, enter drawing slips into the CRM database.
  • Proof text messages for text marketing campaigns.
  • Organize photo releases to insure accuracy and accessibility.
  • Organize and archive digital media clips.
  • Upload archive stories (The Pulse - employee newsletter) to SharePoint (intranet site).
  • Updates the Reader Board at the Seattle Retail Store.
  • Other project and campaign support as it aligns with the interest of the volunteer and the needs of the Marketing and Communications team.

Role Requirements & Abilities:

  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience using or ability to learn database
  • Comfortable asking questions and seeking assistance when needed
  • A demonstrated ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Ability to work sitting at a desk and with a Windows-based laptop computer
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, teamwork and diplomacy skills
