Tree Planting

Help Heartland Tree Alliance mulch trees at English Landing Park in Parkville Missouri! Mulch is so important in young tree care not only to protect the bark from string trimmers and lawn mowers, but also to help retain moisture during our dry months.

No prior mulching experience is needed. Tools will be provided, but please wear gloves, sturdy shoes, long pants and bring a refillable water bottle.

All volunteers must register in advance by completing online registration on this page: https://www.tfaforms.com/448687. Immediately after registering, each individual will receive an auto-email confirmation with more details.

BTG does this by working to create awareness of our environment and the need to make our communities sustainable at every level and in all life activities -- in homes, workplaces, schools and neighborhoods. In all of our work, we seek to create partnerships among governments, businesses, community leaders and individuals to improve our community by making it healthy and sustainable for our future.
